Family Preservation Worker

Regular Full-Time 40 hours. Location: Providence, RI, US. Salary: $56,756 Annually.

Are you passionate about helping families thrive and stay together? Children’s Friend is looking for a Family Preservation Worker to join our dedicated team working with at‑risk families to promote safety, stability, and well‑being.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct in-depth assessments of referred families
• Develop and implement collaborative family service plans
• Provide home‑based services including parent training and family counseling
• Link families to mental health, school, and community‑based supports
• Maintain detailed client records and documentation
• Coordinate case conferences and follow through to service termination
• Implement the plan through the provision of home-based services, including individual and family counseling, parent training, and linkage with schools and community agencies in collaboration with the Family Preservation team

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master’s preferred in Social Work
• Experience with at-risk families, mental health, and service coordination
• Strong time management, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and participate in trainingsValid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance required
• Comfortable working with databases and Microsoft Office tools
