Peach Tree Healthcare in Chico, CA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver primary care, examine patients, and collaborate with providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and examine patients to determine health status and diagnose conditions.
• Document patient care and communicate effectively in the EMR.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications.
• Perform procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound care.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatments, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Refer patients to specialists or community resources when appropriate.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians per established procedures.
• Maintain licensure and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Attend required meetings and trainings; occasional travel as needed.
