Job summary

Casey Family Programs seeks a Family Developer to recruit, support, and retain diverse caregivers (licensed, kinship, fictive kin) who provide permanency for youth. You will work with social workers, build strong community ties, and ensure licensing and placement processes align with Casey’s trauma‑informed approach.

This position emphasizes collaboration, cultural responsiveness, and ongoing coaching of families, with responsibilities spanning home studies, licensing, and ongoing caregiver

Qualifications

• MSW or related field with at least five years of clinical experience in child welfare or related practice.
• Expertise in permanency, well-being outcomes for youth, and family engagement.

Responsibilities

• Maintains compliance with licensing and court requirements and maintains documentation.
• Facilitates family support and training; promotes culture, diversity, equity, inclusion.
• Engages community resources, conducts outreach and education on ICWA and permanency.
• Participates in demonstrations and spreads opportunities across local, state, and national levels.
• Supports and maintains relationships with resource and kin caregivers; manages crisis and transitions.
• Coordinates local/state/national activities and recognition events for resource families.
