Responsibilities

• School pickup and drop-off coverage for occasional events and scheduling needs.
• Prep backpacks, clothing, and snacks; pack school lunches approximately twice per week.
• Kid-related errands as needed.
• Backup childcare and occasional date night coverage.
• Special projects including book organization for kids.
• Create and maintain household organization systems.
• Daily resets and light tidying including dishes, surfaces, and vacuuming high-traffic areas.
• Prep home before biweekly cleaners arrive; direct cleaners on any additional focus areas.
• Sort outgrown clothing as kids grow.
• Seasonal clothing/decor swaps and holiday decorating.
• Event/holiday/guest prep.
• Indoor plant care.
• Routine upkeep: replacing batteries, light bulbs, smoke detectors, and similar items.
• Manage running household supply lists and restock pantry, fridge, and household essentials.
• Manage household orders and subscriptions (Amazon).
• Handle returns, occasional dry cleaning, and gift shopping and wrapping.
• Mail and package handling; breakdown and recycling of boxes.
• Organize fridge, manage leftovers, and do regular refresh.
• Kitchen cleanup and maintenance.
• As the role grows over time, there may be an opportunity to incorporate light meal support.
