Job summary

Franco Manufacturing Co., Inc. seeks a skilled Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper to join the Family Office team. You will manage day-to-day financial operations for a high-net-worth family, reporting to the Family Office Controller.

Responsibilities include processing invoices, cash flow monitoring, reconciliations, budgeting support, and collaboration with CPAs and tax advisors. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in accounting and strong GAAP knowledge in a high-trust environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with family office or public accounting for high-net-worth individuals preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and the ability to maintain accurate books and prepare schedules.
• Experience with trust, partnership, investment, and brokerage accounting and coordinating with outside CPAs and tax advisors.
• Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of QuickBooks or equivalent accounting system.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and vendor payments.
• Monitor cash balances and assist with cash flow reporting.
• Maintain vendor files and payment schedules.
• Support budget tracking and expense analysis.
• Prepare monthly bank, brokerage, and credit card reconciliations.
• Record journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and analyses.
• Ensure records are complete and maintained under procedures and internal controls.
• Assist Family Office Controller with coordinating with outside CPAs and tax advisors.
