Job summary

Confidential Company in New York City seeks an exceptionally bright finance and operations generalist to support the CFO and join the in-house team. You will handle daily accounting, liquidity management, and financial reporting while coordinating with legal and tax teams.

Required skills include Excel fluency, discretion with confidential information, and a proactive, process-oriented mindset. A CPA license and/or family office experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Outstanding problem-solving and communication skills, with fluency in Excel.
• Efficient, meticulous approach; no-task-too-small mentality.
• Process-oriented, inquisitive and proactive; handles confidential information with discretion.
• CPA license and/or prior family office experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily accounting operations including accounts payable processing, general ledger management, and bank reconciliations.
• Creating and maintaining financial records and documentation.
• Monitoring cash balances for various accounts and entities, generating projections, and liaising with banks.
• Leveraging and optimizing technology and software systems.
• Assisting with financial reporting matters.
• Coordinating with legal and tax teams on financial and operational initiatives.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
