Nextera Search Group in New York seeks an experienced Senior Accounting Associate to support a Family Office team. The role focuses on close processes, reporting, and liquidity management across multiple entities and investments.

You will coordinate with tax, legal, and wealth-management advisers, participate in financings, and help optimize cash positions while delivering analyses for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA required.
• 3–5+ years in a Big Four or mid-tier firm.
• Experience in a family office or wealth-management setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support monthly close activities and coordinate with third-party accounting providers.
• Prepare financial reports, presentations, and analyses for clients and senior leadership.
• Consolidate financial information across multiple entities and investments.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and short-term funding requirements.
• Coordinate wire transfers, bill payments, expense tracking, and other cash management activities.
• Review cash positions and identify liquidity/return opportunities.
• Assist with investment-related account openings, subscriptions, redemptions, transfers.
• Partner with tax, legal, and financial advisors on wealth planning and asset protection initiatives.
• Support charitable giving, foundation activity, and related financial administration.
• Coordinate with investment managers, accountants, attorneys, financial institutions, and other service providers.
• Assist with credit facilities, mortgages, and other financing arrangements.
• Respond to client requests and support special projects as needed.

A Family Office based in New York is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join their team as an A Senior Accounting Associate.

Responsibilities:

• Support monthly close activities and coordinate with third-party accounting providers
• Prepare financial reports, presentations, and analyses for clients and senior leadership
• Consolidate financial information across multiple entities and investments
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and short-term funding requirements
• Coordinate wire transfers, bill payments, expense tracking, and other cash management activities
• Review cash positions and identify opportunities to enhance liquidity and returns
• Assist with account openings, investment subscriptions, redemptions, asset transfers, and related documentation
• Partner with tax, legal, and financial advisors on wealth planning and asset protection initiatives
• Support charitable giving, foundation activity, and related financial administration
• Coordinate with investment managers, accountants, attorneys, financial institutions, and other service providers
• Assist with credit facilities, mortgages, and other financing arrangements

Qualifications:
