Job summary

CFS in Coconut Grove, Florida seeks a Controller to own end-to-end accounting and financial operations for all U.S. entities. You will report directly to the CFO and CEO and manage comprehensive financial statements and governance for a family office with international operations across the U.S., UK, and Europe.

The role offers a base salary around $150K plus discretionary bonus and a full benefits package, with strong opportunities to influence the group’s financial strategy and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Prior family office experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the general ledger, reconciliations, and monthly and quarterly close across U.S. entities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Coordinate U.S. tax planning and compliance with external tax and legal advisors.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and expense management.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial and personal information.
