Job summary

Midwest Express Clinic in Griffith, Indiana seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner to lead clinical care across urgent and primary care settings. You will partner with Medical Assistants, Radiologic Technologists, physicians, and leadership to deliver efficient, high-quality care that aligns with MEC's standards.

The role focuses on evidence-based practice, exceptional patient experience, and teamwork, with weekend/evening availability and multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited NP program.
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois and/or Indiana.
• Ability to treat patients across the lifespan.
• Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plan using evidence-based medicine
• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic testing including laboratory and radiology results
• Perform procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, splinting, nail procedures, injections, DOT physicals, and occupational medicine services
• Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record
