Job summary

Midwest Express Clinic seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner in Hammond to lead clinical care with patients of all ages. You will collaborate with Medical Assistants, Radiologic Technologists, and physicians to deliver high-quality, efficient care aligned with MEC's standards for service, safety, and operations.

The role emphasizes clinical excellence, team leadership, and a patient-focused approach. Strong communication and the ability to practice across the lifespan are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited NP program.
• Active FNP license in IN and/or IL.
• Ability to treat patients across the lifespan.
• Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic testing including laboratory and radiology results.
• Perform procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, splinting, nail procedures, injections, DOT physicals, and occupational medicine services.
• Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record.
