Job summary

Midwest Express Clinic in Hammond, Indiana, is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to serve as a clinical leader in urgent and primary care. You will collaborate with Medical Assistants, Radiologic Technologists, leadership, and physicians to deliver efficient, high-quality care that aligns with MEC’s standards for service, safety, and operational excellence.

The position requires a Master’s or Doctorate in NP, an active IL/IN FNP license, and the ability to treat patients across the lifespan.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois and/or Indiana.
• Ability to treat patients across the lifespan.
• Strong clinical decision‑making and procedural skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic testing results.
• Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice.
