Job summary

Ouzinkie Native Corporation seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive NP services in a military treatment facility. You will supervise and conduct general screenings, immunizations, and management of acute and chronic conditions across organ systems.

Work includes ordering tests, prescribing medications, and supporting preventive care. Requirements include MSN for FNP, active ANCC/AANP certification, and an active US APRN license with 24+ months of outpatient experience.

Qualifications

MSN in Family Nurse Practitioner from a recognized program.
Current national certification as ANCC or AANP certified.
Active RN license at Advanced Practice level in US jurisdiction.
Minimum 24 months of outpatient family medicine experience in last 36 months.
Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
Must meet site health screening and security requirements.

Responsibilities

Treat acute, routine and chronic conditions within protocols and physician collaboration.
Consult with physicians or clinics for complex cases and referrals.
Order diagnostic tests as appropriate.
Prescribe and dispense medications per policy.
Promote preventive care and health maintenance for patients.
Coordinate patient care across teams to optimize outcomes.
Ensure compliance with facility policies and legal/ethical standards.
Participate in committees, orientation and performance activities.
