A-Line Staffing is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for Primary Care in Annapolis, MD. This role covers 3-4 days per week and requires coverage every other weekend. The pay ranges from $75.00 to $78.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• FNP license required.
• 1+ year of primary/urgent care, internal/family medicine or hospital experience preferred.
• Experience with EPIC or similar EMR is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive, evidence-based primary care to patients 18 months and older.
• Perform advanced patient assessments; diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe medications and order/interpreting diagnostic tests per state guidelines.
• Manage common conditions such as infections, UTIs, dermatologic issues, allergies, and minor injuries.
• Deliver preventive care including vaccinations and health screenings.
• Conduct women’s health evaluations and refer to OB/GYN as needed.
• Monitor chronic diseases like hypertension, diabetes, and asthma.
• Educate patients on disease management and prevention.
• Document encounters in EPIC and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians and teams to coordinate care and referrals.

Family Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, evidence-based primary care to patients 18 months of age and older in a primary care setting
• Perform advanced patient assessments, diagnose acute and chronic conditions, and develop treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and order/interpreting diagnostic tests in accordance with state licensure and clinical guidelines
• Manage common conditions including respiratory infections, UTIs, dermatologic conditions, allergies, and minor injuries
• Deliver preventive care services including vaccinations, health screenings, and routine physical examinations
• Conduct women’s health evaluations including pregnancy testing and STI screening; refer to OB/GYN for specialized care as needed
• Monitor and manage chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and asthma
• Provide patient education on disease management, medications, and preventive health strategies
• Document all patient encounters in EPIC - electronic medical records ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and appropriate referrals
