Job summary

A-Line Staffing is actively recruiting a Family Nurse Practitioner for primary care in Massachusetts. The role covers patients aged 18 months and older, with a schedule of 3 to 4 days per week and 32–40 hours, including every other weekend.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and patient education. Candidates will prescribe medications within licensure, manage chronic conditions, and perform preventive care and women’s health evaluations.

Qualifications

• FNP license required.
• At least 1 year of primary care/urgent care/ER/internal medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, evidence-based primary care to patients 18 months of age and older in a primary care setting.
• Perform advanced patient assessments, diagnose acute and chronic conditions, and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and order/interpreting diagnostic tests in accordance with state licensure and clinical guidelines.
• Manage common conditions including respiratory infections, UTIs, dermatologic conditions, allergies, and minor injuries.
• Deliver preventive care services including vaccinations, health screenings, and routine physical examinations.
• Conduct women’s health evaluations including pregnancy testing and STI screening; refer to OB/GYN for specialized care as needed.
• Monitor and manage chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and asthma.
• Provide patient education on disease management, medications, and preventive health strategies.
• Document all patient encounters in EPIC - electronic medical records ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and appropriate referrals
