American Family Care, Inc. in Elizabeth, NJ, seeks Advanced Practice Providers (NPs or PAs) for urgent care. The clinics offer high-quality walk-in medical care for acute illnesses and injuries with digital x-rays and on-site labs.

You will deliver high-quality care, actively manage patient flow, supervise staff, and ensure timely charting while enjoying a competitive hourly rate. This full-time role requires NJ licensure, board certification, ACLS/DOT, and urgent care experience.

Qualifications

• NJ medical license for PA or NP, NJ CDS card and DEA license.
• Board-certification.
• ACLS and DOT certifications.
• Urgent care experience.
• Familiarity with occupational medicine.
• Comfort with treating patients from pediatrics to geriatrics.
• Ability to suture lacerations, drain abscesses, set minor fractures, and read x-rays.

• Willingness to mentor clinical staff.
• Highly professional appearance and attitude.

Location Summary

Full time position is for Advanced Practice Providers - Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and/or Physician Assistants (PAs) for urgent care in Elizabeth, NJ. The clinics provide high-quality walk-in medical care for treatment of acute illnesses and injuries. They also feature multiple exam rooms, digital x-rays, and an on-site laboratory. Position Description

Advanced Practice Providers report directly to Medical Director and are primarily responsible for delivery of high quality medical care to urgent care and occupational medicine patients. Mid-Level Providers must also: (i) actively manage all aspects of patient care while on-shift; (ii) supervise and direct the center’s other clinical staff; (iii) ensure that all charts are accurately completed in a timely manner; and (iv) adhere to all clinical policies and protocols. Our compensation plan is based on a highly competitive hourly rate. We also cover medical malpractice insurance expenses.

Qualifications

• NJ medical license for PA or NP, NJ C.D.S. card and Federal D.E.A. license;
• Board-certification;
• A.C.L.S. and D.O.T. certifications;
• Prior urgent care experience;
• Familiarity with occupational medicine;
• Comfort and experience treating patients of all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics;
