100% Telehealth for Urgent Care - Over $200,000 Per Year, Practicing Half the Month

Position: Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner

Location: Central and Southern CA (Remote)

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: $85/hour plus OT, with a $10,000 Sign-on Bonus and $20,000 Annual Retention Bonus

Position Overview:

For eight years, Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted Best Urgent Care in Bakersfield, CA. We are hiring Physician Assistants and Family Nurse Practitioners for a 100% telehealth position within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide urgent care medicine during twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
2. Work full-time, consisting of 12 shifts per month, including 2 on-call shifts, from 8 am to 9 pm.
3. Treat 4 to 5 patients per hour, from newborns to geriatrics, in a low-acuity setting.
4. Perform common procedures such as I&Ds, toenail removal, and laceration repair.
5. Utilize in-house point-of-care testing and X-ray services, with X-ray results overread by a Board-Certified Radiologist within 20 minutes for routine orders.
6. Use the VelociDoc EMR system with Dragon dictation to document all patients efficiently in about one minute.

Qualifications:

1. Completion of a formal MSN, FNP program, or MS in Health Sciences, Physician Assistant Studies.
2. Active and good standing medical license.
3. DEA Certification.
