100% Tele-Health for Urgent Care - Over $200,000 Per Year, Practicing Half the Month

Position: Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner

Location: Central and Southern CA (Remote)

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: $85/hour plus OT, with sign-on bonus and annual retention bonus

Position Overview:

For eight years, Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted Best Urgent Care in Bakersfield, CA. We are hiring Physician Assistants and Family Nurse Practitioners for a 100% telehealth position within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
• Full-time involves 12 shifts per month, 2 on-call shifts, and practice from 8 am to 9 pm.
• Treat 4 to 5 patients per hour, from newborns to geriatrics (full spectrum care), in a low-acuity setting.
• Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
• Equipment: In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-rays, overread by a Board-Certified Radiologist, with results within 20 minutes for routine orders.
• Easy-to-use EMR: VelociDoc with Dragon dictation, documenting all patients in one minute.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a formal MSN, FNP Program, or MS in Health Sciences, Physician Assistant Studies.
• Active and good standing Medical License.
• DEA Certification.
