100% Tele-Health for Urgent Care - Over $200,000 Per Year Practicing Half the Month

Position: Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner

Location: Central and Southern CA (Remote)

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: $85/hour plus OT, with a sign-on bonus and annual retention bonus

Position Overview:

For eight years, Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted Best Urgent Care in Bakersfield, CA. We are hiring Physician Assistants and Family Nurse Practitioners for a 100% tele-health position within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide urgent care medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
• Work full-time, which includes 12 shifts per month, 2 on-call shifts, and practice from 8 am to 9 pm.
• Treat 4 to 5 patients per hour, from newborns to geriatrics, in a low-acuity setting.
• Perform bread & butter procedures: I&Ds, toenail removal, and laceration repair.
• Utilize equipment such as in-house point-of-care testing and X-rays, with all X-rays overread by a Board-Certified Radiologist and results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
• Use an easy-to-use EMR system: VelociDoc with Dragon dictation, able to document all patients within one minute.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a formal MSN, FNP program, or MS in Health Sciences, Physician Assistant Studies.
• Active and in-good-standing medical license.
• DEA certification.
