100% Tele-Health for Urgent Care - Over $200,000 Per Year, Practicing Half the Month

Position: Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner

Location: Central and Southern CA (Remote)

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: $85/hour plus OT, with a $10,000 Sign-on Bonus and $20,000 Annual Retention Bonus

Position Overview:

For eight years, Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted the Best Urgent Care in Bakersfield, CA. We are hiring Physician Assistants and Family Nurse Practitioners for a 100% tele-health position within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide urgent care medicine during twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
2. Work full-time, which includes 12 shifts per month, 2 on-call shifts, practicing from 8 am to 9 pm.
3. Treat 4 to 5 patients per hour, ranging from newborns to geriatrics in a low-acuity setting.
4. Perform common procedures such as I&Ds, toenail removal, and laceration repair.
5. Utilize in-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray equipment; all X-rays are overread by a Board-Certified Radiologist with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
6. Use the VelociDoc EMR system with Dragon dictation to document patient encounters efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a formal MSN, FNP program, or MS in Health Sciences or Physician Assistant Studies.
• Active and good standing Medical License.
• DEA Certification.
