The University of Kansas Medical Center School of Nursing seeks a nurse faculty member (clinical or research track) to support the Family Nurse Practitioner in the DNP program. This full-time, 12-month appointment, faculty role reports to the Chair and offers a salary commensurate with experience.

The faculty member will teach, participate in service activities, and engage in clinical scholarship while maintaining a clinical practice as appropriate to the track.

Formación

• Doctoral degree in nursing (DNP or PhD) required.
• RN license in Kansas or eligible.
• APRN license in Kansas or eligible.
• FNP certification current and maintained.
• One year of FNP clinical experience.
• Experience teaching in a nursing program preferred.
• Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating courses.
• Experience with clinical preceptors and externs.
• Strong communication skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Teach nursing students in multiple courses and settings in the DNP program.
• Participate in course/curriculum development and evaluation.
• Engage in service activities supporting the School of Nursing.
• Collaborate with KU nursing faculty and external stakeholders.
