Job summary

The University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS, seeks a nurse faculty (clinical or research track) to support the Family Nurse Practitioner program within the DNP pathway. This is a full-time, 12-month appointment reporting to the Chair of Family, Community, and Health Systems.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in nursing (DNP or PhD) required to ensure foundational knowledge and credentialing.
• State of Kansas RN license or eligible; APRN license or eligible; FNP certification.
• One year of clinical experience as an FNP.

Responsibilities

• Teach nursing students across didactic, online, in-person, and hybrid settings.
• Participate in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Engage in service activities and mentorship of students.
• Collaborate with KU nursing faculty and health system partners.
• Develop and disseminate scholarly work through publications and presentations.
