Job summary

The University of Kansas Medical Center School of Nursing seeks a Nurse Faculty member (clinical or research track) to support the Family Nurse Practitioner in the DNP program. This is a 12-month, full-time appointment reporting to the Chair, Department of Family, Community, and Health Systems.

Salary commensurate with experience and rank. The role involves teaching in online, in-person, or hybrid formats, course/curriculum development, and service on committees.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in nursing (DNP or PhD) required.
• State RN license in Kansas or eligible; APRN license or eligible.
• FNP certification current and active; eligible for practice.

Responsibilities

• Teach nursing students in didactic and clinical settings (online, in-person, or hybrid).
• Contribute to course and curriculum development and evaluation.
• Engage in service activities supporting the School of Nursing mission.
