Job summary

Job description

Immediate Nurse Practitioner (NP) contract opportunity at our Corporate Health Center in Elko, NV.

Pay Rate: $100.00/hr

Work Schedule:

• 4 x 10hr rotating shifts: Mon–Thu and Tue–Fri, 8:00am - 7:00pm
• 2 scheduled weekends per month: Sat–Sun, 8:00am – 2:00pm

Contract Details:

• Start: 10/05/2026
• End: 2/28/2027(possible extension or permanent position)

Job Details:

• Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs.
• Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition.
• Collaborates with Physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan as necessary.
• Prescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
• Maintains medical records

Qualifications:

• Completion of a Nurse Practitioner Program
• Epic experience a plus
• Experience in acute care or walk-in/urgent care
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP)
• Prior clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting.
