Job summary
Health And Life Organization Inc. is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive primary care across all ages. You will perform physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, prescribe medications, and coordinate tests and referrals in a busy clinic.
You will educate patients, maintain records, and collaborate with physicians and nurses. Monday–Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM with a rotating Saturday schedule, emphasizing preventive care and patient education.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from an accredited institution or equivalent.
- Board certification through ANCC or AANPCB.
- DEA certificate, NPI number, and BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a primary care outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical exams for patients of all ages.
- Gather patient histories and diagnose acute and chronic illnesses.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans; prescribe medications.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests; coordinate imaging as needed.
- Educate patients on healthy lifestyle, prevention, and disease management.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and nurses to coordinate care.
- Provide emergency care when needed and participate in continuing education.
