UP Health System - Marquette is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Family Medicine Clinic in Marquette, Michigan. This full-time RN role focuses on compassionate patient care across all ages and emphasizes teamwork and patient education.

The schedule is 8-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday (9am–5pm). Requirements include Michigan RN license, an associate degree, BLS, ACLS within 1 year; we offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive community hospital network.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license is required.
• Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs care plans including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care.
• Assists with procedures and documents patient care provided.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates patient/family learning needs and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Acts as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
