Job summary

Thundermist Health Center is seeking a board certified/eligible Family Medicine Core Faculty Physician to join a new teaching health center residency program dedicated to training future family physicians with a passion for health equity, community health-partnerships, and urban and rural underserved populations.

The role includes a 50/50 split between faculty duties and clinical care, with inpatient adult medicine services and precepting in the residency clinic; maintain continuity clinic for

Qualifications

• MD or DO with a completed three-year residency in family medicine.
• Ability to obtain a full, unrestricted RI medical license.
• Clinical experience on an inpatient adult medicine teaching service.
• Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges at Landmark Medical Center.
• Exceptional oral and written skills with proficiency in medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• 50/50 FTE split between faculty responsibilities and clinical care.
• Inpatient adult medicine services for the teaching service.
• Precept in the Family Medicine Residency Clinic.
• Maintain continuity clinic 2–3 half-days per week.
