Ascension is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for an outpatient-focused role within a busy, well-established health system in Texas. The position provides hospital and ED on-site support and a robust referral network.

The ideal candidate will be MD or DO, Texas Medical Board-credentialed and committed to mission-centered care within a supportive, physician-led culture. Employed by a nonprofit health system with balanced work-life integration.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

• Specialists are available to the provider due to the vast resources of Ascension Texas. Smithville has cardiology, general surgery and orthopedics on site each week
