Job summary

The Recruiting Hive is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for 100% outpatient care on Long Island, NY. Flexible hours, Monday–Friday, with no on-call requirements and a collaborative care team.

Salary ranges from $250,000 to $400,000 per year with competitive benefits and leadership opportunities within a physician‑led group committed to clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and growth.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) with active or eligible board certification in Family Medicine.
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New York State.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care
• Proven ability to maintain and grow a local clinical practice is required
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to grow and manage a thriving patient base.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality care.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments including history taking and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret lab results and other diagnostic tests
• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans.
• Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff within the practice.
• Stay compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and relevant payer guidelines.
• Participate in population health initiatives and support ongoing quality improvement projects.
• Contribute to the development of a sustainable patient panel aligned with practice growth objectives.
