UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (APN) for our Chicago Family Medicine clinic on Archer Ave. The role will be part clinical and part administrative. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years APP experience, can work independently with physicians, and will see acute patients in the clinic (about 8 per day).

Spanish language skills are preferred to improve patient access. This position carries an annual salary of $115K–$125K and requires a Master's in Nursing,

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of APP experience.
• Must be able to work independently and in collaboration with attending Physician
• Must have experience in full spectrum Family Medicine
• APN will see acute patients only for clinic; approximately 8 patients per day
• Schedule: 5 days per week and rotating Saturdays
• Administrative work to include: triage EMR inboxes, refill medications, review labs and controlled substances, etc.
• Coverage for physicians on PTO, medical leave, etc.
• EPIC Inbox management for assigned Physicians
• Spanish language skills are preferred to support patient access and enhance the patient experience.
• Annual Salary: $115K - $125K

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Master's degree in Nursing

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office.

ACLS Certification, required

Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office

Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration.
