Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent in Georgia is hiring a Medical Assistant I for a full-time, 40-hour week in Family Medicine. You will perform rooming, vital signs, lab duties, vaccines, and patient coaching under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; MA program or equivalent training preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and team.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, take vitals, review history and allergies, and assist with screenings.
• Support providers with procedures and administer vaccines and medications.
• Perform venipuncture and basic lab duties per CLIA-waived tests.
• Coordinate referrals, scheduling, and patient messaging; maintain clean, stocked workspace.
• Document in EMR and ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
