Job summary

Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Clemmons, NC is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the Family Medicine team. You will perform rooming tasks, vital signs, histories, and health screenings while assisting providers with procedures and tests.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or GED, completion of a Medical Assistant program, and at least two years of clinical experience. This role offers full-time hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required across divisions.
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or structured military medical training.
Two years of clinical Medical Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice, follows policies and maintains competency.
Performs rooming/visit tasks: vital signs, med reconciliation, history, screenings.
Assists provider with procedures and laboratory duties including venipuncture and POCT.
Administers medications and vaccines per rights; ensures proper documentation.
Maintains supplies and participates in scheduling, referrals, and patient communication.
