Job summary

Sterling Lawyers, LLC in Illinois seeks a paralegal to support two attorneys in a fast-paced family law practice. You will handle filing, draft pleadings, manage calendars, prepare documents for service, and coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court throughout case workflows.

Our compensation starts at $50,000 up to $61,900 with an incentive-based bonus, plus health, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401(k) with matching, paid vacation, holidays, and disability coverage.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of family law experience but will consider motivated candidates with relevant skills.
• Ability to support two Attorneys in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support two attorneys in a fast-paced family law environment.
• File documents in new and existing cases; process payments.
• E-file pleadings and update attorneys on filing requirements.
• Draft and e-file pleadings including Summons and Petition for Dissolution of Marriage.
• Prepare and submit prove-up documents in each county.
• Manage attorney calendars, schedule hearings, and coordinate notices.
