Job summary

Sterling Lawyers, LLC is seeking a Paralegal in Arlington Heights, IL to support two attorneys in a fast-paced family law practice. The role involves drafting pleadings, managing calendars, and coordinating with clients and courts.

We offer a competitive base salary of $50,000–$61,900 plus monthly incentive bonuses, plus benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching, and paid vacation and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of family law experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong follow-through and ability to work independently.
• Comfortable working with technology and electronic filing systems.

Responsibilities

• Support two attorneys with day-to-day case management.
• Draft, prepare, and e-file pleadings and other legal documents.
• Manage attorney calendars, hearings, prove-ups, and court deadlines.
• Prepare discovery, pretrial documents, financial affidavits, and related materials.
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical client files.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties.
• Coordinate service of process and follow up on required filings.
• Process case expenses, payments, and file closeouts.
• Provide general administrative and case support as needed.
