Job summary

Sterling Lawyers, LLC is a growing family law firm seeking a Family Law Paralegal in Arlington Heights, IL. The role supports two attorneys in a fast-paced environment, handles filings, e-filing, and document preparation for dissolution, parentage, and related matters.

You'll manage calendars, coordinate with clients and courts, and assist with case documents, production requests, and orders. Prior family law experience is preferred, with 2–3 years acceptable; strong tech comfort is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of family law experience, or relevant skills.
• Experience with e-filing and drafting pleadings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ability to support two Attorneys in a fast-paced environment.
• File documents and process payments related to cases and e-file documents.
• Draft and e-file pleadings including Summons and petitions in divorce or parentage cases.
• Prepare and submit prove-up documents in each county and prepare related documents.
• Manage attorney calendars, schedule hearings, and coordinate client and counsel communications.
