Duties

Represent clients in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and adoption

Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and parenting plans

Negotiate settlements and participate in mediations

Appear in court for hearings, trials, and other proceedings

Communicate regularly with clients and opposing counsel

Manage case files and maintain accurate documentation

Work with minimal supervision while adhering to firm processes and standards

Requirements

Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia (required)

Previous legal experience required; family law experience preferred

Ability to manage a full caseload independently

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent legal writing and research ability

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients

Familiarity with family law court procedures and filings in Georgia

Self-motivated, efficient, and professional demeanor

Education
