Evans & Dixon, LLC is seeking an Associate Attorney to join the domestic litigation team in Columbia, MO. The candidate should have 1–3 years of experience in complex family law matters or civil litigation.

You will handle divorce, custody and support disputes, property division, and domestic violence cases while working both independently and with a team. You will contribute to a fast-paced, intellectually stimulating environment, advancing in a Midwest-based practice with experienced

Qualifications

• A JD or equivalent from an ABA accredited law school.
• Active Missouri Bar membership or reciprocity with Missouri.
• 1+ years civil litigation experience; family law preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as second chair in high-net-worth family law cases with strategic input.
• Handle dissolution, custody, support, property division, and domestic abuse matters.
• Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Represent clients in motions, mediations, and trials with courtroom experience.
• Manage multiple cases and deadlines; adapt to changing strategies.
• Conduct legal research and draft persuasive documents for complex family law issues.
• Perform billable work with accurate timekeeping and billing.
