Job Opening: Family Law Associate Attorney

Location: Salt Lake City, UT (In-office position)

Salary: Dependent on Experience

We are seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney to join our team in Salt Lake City. This is an in-office position with opportunities for career growth and advancement in a dynamic and supportive legal environment.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and property division.
• Draft and file legal documents such as petitions, motions, settlement agreements, modifications of divorce, paternity, modification of paternity or post family law matters, prenuptials and postnuptial agreements
• Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients through challenging family law matters.
• Attend court hearings, mediation, and other legal proceedings.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Utah State Bar membership (or ability to obtain within a reasonable time frame).
• Strong knowledge of family law principles and practice.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous family law experience is a plus.

Compensation:

Salary is competitive and dependent on experience. Benefits include paid time off, IRA, and virtual work from home days.
