The Law Offices of Roderick C. White is expanding its family law practice in the Chicago market and seeks a Family Law Associate Attorney with prior litigation experience. This role offers substantial client responsibility, courtroom exposure, and involvement in growth-driven cases.

We value a JD, Illinois licensure, strong ethics, and the ability to handle a demanding caseload with precision. Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable for this growing practice.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing in Illinois (additional jurisdictions a plus).
• 1-3 years of family law or comparable litigation experience required.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and related proceedings.
• Manage a full caseload from intake through final resolution.
• Develop and implement strategic case plans tailored to each matter.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda.
• Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials.
• Negotiate settlements and manage case progression effectively.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure timely movement of matters.
• Provide clear, professional communication throughout the case lifecycle.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to support workflow and operational goals.
