Family Service Rochester is seeking a full-time Social Worker Coordinator/Facilitator to join our Family Involvement Strategies Team. You will engage directly with families involved with child protection and juvenile services to build plans that promote child safety, permanency, and well-being.

The role emphasizes coordination of FIS meetings, documentation, and delivering education on Family Group Decision Making to diverse communities, with a strong teamwork approach and flexible scheduling to

Qualifications

• Eligible candidates hold a degree in a human services field and have relevant experience working with families.
• Preference given to those with a Minnesota Social Work License or license eligibility.
• Excellent communication, listening, computer and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of human services and family systems and experience in conflict resolution.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations in a team environment.
• Must have reliable transportation and flexibility for evenings/weekends.

• Coordinate and facilitate FIS meetings on referral from Community Services Units using Family Group Decision Making.
• Complete documentation and prepare paperwork related to family plans.
• Provide education and information on Family Involvement Strategies to the community.
• Collaborate with the team in implementing Family Involvement Strategies.
