Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a closely related human services area.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children and families.
• Knowledge of child welfare policies, programs, and local resources.
• Proficient in using Microsoft applications and electronic data systems.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct social work services to assigned client/family in home or natural environment.
• Develop a comprehensive service plan and discharge plan based on client strengths and needs.
• Monitor progress and revise service plans as needed.
• Coordinate and oversee initial and ongoing service assessment activities and case management.
• Collaborate with family, referents, and community resources; advocate for services.
• Maintain professional relationships with families, ensuring cultural competence.
