Right At School is hiring a Program Manager in New York to lead before and after school programs. The role emphasizes safety, quality service, and strong communication with families and schools.

You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with licensing and attendance policies, and coordinate daily activities within a supportive team. The position supports a split shift schedule with morning and afternoon blocks, up to 30 hours per week, and requires NY State credentials and childcare

• Knowledge of child development and related field coursework or training.
• Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Joy: model safe, joyful environments and maintain attendance and policies.
• Safety Assurance: support and report on safety protocols for participants.
• Effective Communication: engage with families, clients, peers, and children; respond to inquiries during program hours.
• Documentation and Compliance: maintain records for student check-ins/outs and attendance procedures.
• Daily Routine: implement activities, curriculum, and safe engagement.
