Job summary

Behavioral Services of Louisiana, LLC is seeking an Engagement Specialist to support family engagement, continuity of care, and service stabilization within the Family Support Organization. You will focus on intake, reengagement, and temporary service coverage to keep families connected to services and achieve positive outcomes.

You will serve as a resource for families entering services, educate them about supports, coordinate with schools, hospitals, and other providers, and document

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children, youth, and families preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage families from diverse backgrounds and build positive working relationships.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn agency software systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake, outreach, and onboarding activities for newly referred families.
• Help referred families understand Family Support Organization (FSO) and Coordinated System of Care (CSoC) services.
• Provide education on available supports, program expectations, and family-driven services.
• Support families in identifying and strengthening natural supports, community resources, and coping strategies.
