Job summary

Behavioral Services of Louisiana, LLC is seeking an Engagement Specialist to support family engagement, continuity of care, and service stabilization within the Family Support Organization (FSO). You will handle intake, reengagement, and temporary service coverage to help families stay connected to services.

Responsibilities include educating families about available supports, coordinating with schools and providers, maintaining accurate documentation, and participating in trainings to uphold

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage families from diverse backgrounds and build positive working relationships.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn agency software systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake, outreach and onboarding for newly referred families.
• Explain Family Support Organization (FSO) and Coordinated System of Care (CSoC) services to families.
• Provide education on supports, program expectations, and family-driven services.
• Support families in identifying natural supports and community resources to improve youth functioning.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation for all contacts and activities.
