Job summary

BCFS Health and Human Services in Texas is seeking a Family Engagement Coordinator who will ensure quality services for families while maintaining compliance with program standards and using sound professional judgment. You will coordinate the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC), develop outreach plans, conduct family surveys, host parent-led events, and train families in self-advocacy and leadership.

Regular contact with families and detailed record-keeping in PEIRS Salesforce will be required,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least 3 years of direct experience with a high school diploma.
• Bachelor’s degree may substitute for experience.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) and ensure engagement in program decisions.
• Solicit and share family feedback with the PAC for analysis, strategy development, and service coordination.
• Develop, review, and revise a quarterly outreach plan with the support of the PAC.
• Conduct family surveys to assess needs and review results with the PAC.
• Partner with the PAC to host parent-led events, initiatives, parent cafes, and other workshops.
• Provide targeted outreach and recruitment of participants for FRC activities to identify underserved populations.
• Provide training for families on self-advocacy and leadership.
• Establish and maintain a professional relationship with families with regular contact.
• Record all services in PEIRS (DFPS) Salesforce (BCFS) databases.
