Summary of Position
Responsible for driving the day-to-day full cycle recruitment process for all exempt level roles (Store Manager and above). In partnership with the Director, develop a recruitment strategy that meets the overall needs of the organization within selected lines of business (LOB). Support the business needs by functioning as a recruiter and directing recruitment staff efforts in providing full lifecycle recruitment support. Provide consultative support to hiring managers regarding company policies, staffing processes, and staff selection. Lead strategic recruiting initiatives through planning, research, and implementation.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate effective recruitment strategies and processes.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with store operations teams.
  • Manage recruitment staff (regular and/or contract) in sourcing and placing qualified candidates, and develop staff skills and performance.
  • Maintain and analyze reports on open requisitions, passive candidate sourcing, and time-to-fill metrics; proactively improve recruiting policies and practices.
  • Collaborate with the Director to set and monitor the recruiting budget based on hiring projections.
  • Develop staffing strategies with recruitment staff to meet business needs.
  • Ensure a positive interview experience for candidates.
  • Extend and negotiate employment offers, prepare offer letters and documentation, and process pre-employment contingencies.
  • Provide full lifecycle recruitment services for various positions.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-7 years in recruitment/talent acquisition, including at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Proven ability to manage staffing efforts and develop recruitment strategies aligned with business needs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with hiring managers for interview facilitation, negotiations, and offer presentations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Desired Qualifications

5+ years recruiting experience in the retail industry.
