Job summary

Outreach - Center for Community Resources seeks a Family Development Specialist to support the SafeCare program with home visitation and family education. You will conduct home visits for up to twelve families, facilitate weekly play & learn activities and Parent Cafes, and coordinate with community partners to link families to resources.

The role requires working with at-risk populations, completion of mandatory training, and daily office attendance with some evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office and Excel is preferred.
• Good computer literacy and data entry skills required.
• Experience in outcomes tracking and using data systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides weekly home visits lasting 60-90 minutes for families with children ages 0-5.
• Uses SafeCare curriculum to improve parent-infant/child interaction, health care, and home safety skills.
• Plans and implements weekly play & learn groups and Parent Cafes.
• Maintains files and data in outreach and funder data systems.
• Attends staff and reflective supervision meetings as required.
• Links families to resources via partnerships with community agencies.
