Lutheran Services Florida, Inc. (LSF) is seeking a Counselor II to support families and youth through counseling, case management, and crisis intervention in the communities served across Florida.

This direct-care role emphasizes collaboration with families, schools, and community agencies to implement effective plans. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in human services and 2+ years of adolescent and family counseling experience, with strong communication and bilingual abilities.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in human services required.
• Two+ years of adolescent and family counseling experience.
• Experience with crisis intervention and case planning.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Haitian Creole preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling to youth and families.
• Deliver crisis intervention counseling to families in crisis.
• Complete comprehensive assessments of families in crisis.
• Perform case management and be on-call for clients 24/7.
• Assist clients in implementing their case plans and linking to referrals.
• Maintain caseloads and prepare timely progress notes and reports.
