Job summary

EveryChild California is seeking a Family Child Care Coordinator (FCCC) to manage and implement the Family Child Care Option program under the Area Manager’s guidance. You’ll connect families to licensed providers, conduct site visits, and foster relationships with local agencies to support children ages 0-5.

The role includes coordinating training, workshops, and parent engagement to create a nurturing, educational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in ECE/CD or related field with two years of teaching experience with children ages 0-5.
• Minimum of twelve ECE/CD core units and three infant/toddler development units or completion within one year of employment.
• Site Supervisor Permit within 30 days of employment.
• Experience in a licensed day care center or comparable home day care for children ages 0-5.

Responsibilities

• Family Support: Recruit, enroll, and re-certify children in the Family Child Care Program and promote parent involvement.
• Provider Coordination: Conduct site visits, provide training and technical assistance, and develop educational resources for providers.
• Program Management: Perform administrative tasks, maintain records, and support program policies and meetings.
