Job summary

Epworth Children's Home, a ministry of the United Methodist Church in South Carolina, seeks an organized, nurturing Early Intervention Specialist to serve families in Richland and Lexington counties through home visits and ongoing support.

The role provides Family Training/Special Instruction and Service Coordination for children birth to six with developmental delays, with timely documentation and IFSP/FSP management as core duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Early Childhood Special Education, or related field.
• At least one year of experience in an early childhood classroom or with children birth to six years who have disabilities.
• Working knowledge of infant and child development.

Responsibilities

• Provide home-based services to families with infants to six-year-olds with developmental delays in Richland and Lexington counties.
• Conduct timely documentation and professional reports in accordance with program and Medicaid requirements.
• Coordinate Family Training/Special Instruction and Service Coordination under IFSPs/FSPs.
• Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to support families and children.
