Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Family Based Case Manager to join our Child and Family Services team in Warminster, PA, covering Bucks and Montgomery Counties. The role provides treatment services to families, including skills training and education to help children at home.

The position involves regular communication with families, schools, physicians and other providers, flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and travel to clients' homes and community resources to arrange and deliver home-based

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or related discipline or a bachelor's degree with 12 credits in counseling or psychology.
• Minimum of one year experience working with children or adolescents.
• Experience with crisis intervention or de-escalation preferred.
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment services to families including skills training and education to enable families to care for their mentally ill or emotionally disturbed children at home.
• Maintain regular communication with families, schools, physicians and other service providers involved with the children and family.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of children and families on caseload.
• Travel to clients' homes, other agencies and community resources to arrange and provide home-based services for children, adolescents and families.
